Hi, I’m Jim Carroll!

I’m a futurist, trends & innovation expert
And I’m a passionate golfer too!

JimCarroll.Golf will become a new little Web site for me that offers up some thoughts and insight on the future of the game! (I maintain a full, complex Web site at https://www.jimcarroll.com)

Over the last 20 years, more than 2 million people have shared my insight at the events I have spoken at ….. with clients that include NASA; Walt Disney Corporation; the Wall Street Journal; DuPont; The GAP; Siemens; Lockheed Martin; Swiss Innovation Forum; Fairmont/Raffles Hotels International; RGA Reinsurance; National Australian Bank; CIGNA; Pfizer; Johnson & Johnson to name just a few.

I’ve been lucky enough to be invited by the PGA of America twice to address their membership — once at their Annual General Meeting, and again at the annual PGA Merchandise Show!. Both keynotes have involved insight on future trends providing opportunity for growing the game of golf, and insight into concepts for innovation to achieve that growth.

My “life on stage” has me speaking at some very unique events. Over the years, I’ve shared the stage with Leonard Nimoy (“Spock” of Star Trek), President George W. Bush, Carrie Fisher (“Princess Leia” of Star Wars), Terry Bradshaw of the NFL, Biz Stone (Founder of Twitter), Jimmy Wales of Wikipedia, Astronaut Scott Kelly (last pilot of the Space Shuttle), Buzz Aldrin of Apollo 11, Jack Welch of GE, Roger Goodall, the Commissioner of the NFL, and Lee Trevino and Bubba Watson of golf, among others …

I assist organizations in dealing with the future, trends and innovation through three distinct types of events: as the opening or closing keynote speaker for the annual meetings/conferences of national or international associations; keynotes or workshops for private corporate leadership events; or keynotes or panel discussions on customer oriented meetings or promotional events….

My keynotes involve deep insight into the future trends and opportunities for innovation in many industries. Through the years, that has included the world of sport, and in particular, because of my keynotes for the PGA of America, issues around the future of golf. I am big believer that we live in a unique period of time that allows for growth of the game through innovative technologies, while at the same time remaining true to the culture, history and traditions of the game.

The media covers me a lot : BusinessWeek commented that I am “a leading source for innovation insight;” a CNBC guest expert on innovation; insights also covered by ABC News, INC, Fast Company, the South China Morning Post (Hong Kong), STOrai Magazine (Retail Association of India), The Age (Sydney, Australia), American Way, CAPITAL Magazine (Dubai/United Arab Emirates) CEO Magazine Hungary, Association LEADERSHIP, the National Post and PROFIT.

I’m also an author, with books including The Future Belongs To Those Who Are Fast, Ready, Set, Done: How to Innovate When Faster is the New Fast, and What I Learned From Frogs in Texas: Saving Your Skin with Forward Thinking Innovation.
